Designs

All of our balconies are bespoke and the final designs of our products reflect the individual requirements of the customer. However, to give you an idea of what you may like, there are generally three types of balcony designs which we offer. These are:

Corner-post design: a traditional balcony with has its outer posts located in the outer corners.

Overhang design: a balcony with a platform which extends over its outer posts. This offers a minimal footprint and is a great alternative to a Juliet balcony.

Cantilever design: a balcony which has no outer posts. This design is ideal where the post positions are limited by a narrow pathway.

The Oak Structure

For all of our balconies, the oak structure is hand manufactured using sustainably sourced green oak. The structure is free standing so no alteration to existing property to support the structure is required.

The structures have been pre-assembled in our workshop to ensure that the fit is suitable. Oak dowels for all dowelled joints, pre-drilled dowel holes and stainless steel screws for all screwed fixings are included.

All oak is finish planed, sanded and is left untreated to give a smooth, tactile finish.
