Launching Our Blog! A year-end update from Jaylee Oak.

Welcome to our very first blog post! We’re launching the blog to keep the world up to date on our growing business. Here you’ll find information related to our recent builds, new products and site updates. We’ll also be publishing articles which will provide ideas and inspiration related to how oak structures could potentially benefit an outdoor space.

The end of the year is a time for reflection. Here at Jaylee Oak we’ve had our busiest year to date. Our founder Kev had been working tirelessly in the workshop (and office!) all year round and we’ve manufactured and constructed a number of oak balconies, porches and gazebos for clients across the UK. Our oak garden bridges have also a big hit this year and we aim to have more photos of our bridges soon to showcase the benefits they can bring to an outdoor space.

We also launched our new website in February. The new website aims to better communicate who we are and what we do. As well as publishing blog posts we will also be updating the gallery with photos from recent projects, adding new product designs and publishing new case studies showcasing our work. So make sure to check back in soon!

The last project we completed prior to Christmas was an oak balcony on a beautiful new-build home in Northumberland. Pictures of the build are shown below. The balcony offers views over the surrounding countryside and adds to the visual appeal of the home. We think it works wonderfully combined with the sandstone exterior.
